V2.4According to the latest Google guidelines, the user must explicitly authorize access to an external Folder So a dialog is given to select a folder to store your data it can be any name but RdScanPro is a preferred name.
Tested ok with android 5-13.You also will be asked for permission to record audio according to the latest Google guidelines, the user must give runtime permission if the audio jack is used.
(Allow record audio.)If the audio jack is used to decode Pocsag then Android sees this as Record Audio but nothing is stored on the phone ,it is decoded.This app needs a small OTG cable to connect the scanner to your phone or tab.Its best to first try the free app RadioScanUBC125 to check if your device supports the use of this OTG cable.In this PRO version more buttons and functions are available.V2.0- Run Time permissions needed for record audio.- Morse decoding now on new screen.

(Search screen)When the start frequency is the same as the end frequency ,thescanner is put on hold on this frequency so listening is possible.- Up button (Search screen)The frequency is increased with the actual frequency step.- Down button (Search screen)The frequency is decreased with the actual frequency step.- Listen to the found frequency.(clicked on listview) (Search screen)First click the STOP button then a long-click on one of thefrequencies the search has found ,now listening to this frequency is possible.Permission is needed to write and read to the /storage directory when installing this app , it is for writing and reading the table-files and the search log file,this is done in this location , so the user has access to these excel and log files.
